Eric Josephson DMD

Dr. Josephson was born in the Bronx, NY and grew up in Orange, CT. He attended Colgate University where he received his B.A. majoring in chemistry. Dr. Josephson went on to study dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where he received his DMD degree.
Dr. Josephson did a year of residency at the Yale-New Haven Medical Center in New Haven, CT. After his residency, he joined Mt. Sinai St. Lukes-Mt. Sinai West Hospital as an Assistant Attending Physician. His hospital responsibilities include treating patients as well as teaching residents. Caring for hospital based patients for many years has given Dr. Josephson the experience of treating very serious dental problems in patients with poor health. This has proven to be a very important part of Dr. Josephsons training.
Private practice is where Dr. Josephson spends most of his time although he maintains his Assistant Attending Physician position with Mt. Sinai St. Lukes-Mt. Sinai West Hospital.
Dr. Josephson is an active member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Society and the New York County Dental Society.
He is a dedicated cyclist, swimmer, and runner having completed the New York City Marathon.
